Generic horoscopes are written for everyone. Pro astrology software is hard to use. And AI chatbots will confidently describe planet positions that simply aren't there. Asterism calculates your real birth chart from your date, time, and place of birth, and Lyra walks you through it in plain language: forecasts, compatibility, and conversation.

Every answer shows its sources
Planet positions are calculated by an astronomical engine, not a language model. Your birth time is checked against a historical time-zone database, so the chart is right even where clocks changed. Lyra gets the calculated facts and explains them, and every answer has a "What it's based on" section listing the positions and aspects behind it.

Lyra is Asterism’s AI guide. She interprets your chart, answers questions, and helps you understand compatibility. Lyra is an AI, and the app always says so. AI-generated answers are labeled.

Your chart stays with you
- Your birth data, charts, the people you add, and your chats with Lyra are stored on your device.

- We never train models on your conversations.
To answer you, Lyra sends an AI model only the chart facts it needs. Who processes those requests, and how, is covered in the Privacy Policy.

When will Asterism launch?

How is Asterism different from a regular horoscope?
A horoscope is written for everyone who shares your Sun sign. Asterism calculates your personal chart based on birth date, time, and place, and shows you what every answer is based on.
Where do the planet positions come from?
They are calculated by an astronomical engine. Lyra does not compute or guess them; she explains what has already been calculated.
What if I don’t know my exact birth time?
That's fine — birth time is optional. Asterism builds your chart from your birth date and place; without the time, houses and the Ascendant aren't shown and some insights are less precise. Everything else works, and you can add the time later.
Where is my data stored?
On your device. No account needed. Optional backup encrypted with your key. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my data?
Use "Delete all data" in Settings. Instructions for deleting other items (e.g., subscription records) are on the Data Deletion page.
Does Asterism include tarot or live astrologers?
No. Asterism calculates your chart and uses AI to explain it.
Is it free?
There is a free version and an Asterism+ subscription with a trial period. We'll announce pricing before launch.
